A sling seat made of cloth is also available. It is positioned snugly inside the frame rather than on top like the modular seat. This gives a lower centre of gravity and perfect weight distribution. This makes it easier and lighter to push especially when you're on bumpy terrain or curbs. MFM reviewer Kath really liked the way this type of seat dealt with these challenges.

Alongside a huge shopping basket, this type of buggy usually has very useful features like an extended 50+ UV hood, an easy to use brake pedal, and a few game-changing visibility lights that come up from the handlebar and can be placed in front of the passengers to ensure their safety when they are tackling difficult terrain.

If you're searching for a stroller that can grow with your family, the sport(tm) is a world first, can accommodate infants and be modified to fit two or three children as they grow, all within one footprint.

Stores

The 3-wheeled frame makes the buggy more stable and sturdy to push one-handed and also perfect for handling terrain that is difficult to navigate. However, it does mean that the shopping basket can't hold as much as a four-wheeled buggy.

A high-quality ATP will come with a great suspension, pneumatic tyres and padding for the handle to ensure your comfort. It should be able to accommodate a carrycot or a car seat, which means you can use it from birth.

MFM's reviewers have noticed that the 3-wheeler frame can't pass through all doors in their homes or small car booties - make sure you check the dimensions of the buggy when it's folded before buying if you're worried about space.

It's worth looking for a 3 wheel travel system-wheeler that can take two (or even 3!) seats as your family grows. These are the most efficient of both and future proof your money. The iCandy strawberry sport is among the top of them and can be used as a single from day dot and later converts into twin buggies once your baby begins walking.

Tyres
