Best Travel Pushchair

graco-ezlite-ultimate-easy-to-use-lightwIf you're often on the move or plan to travel with your young child, you might be looking for a best travel pushchair. You might want one that is easy to fold and maneuver on bumpy terrain. You might also need an adjustable seat to allow for a comfortable snooze or has additional features such as a newborn bassinet.

1. G-Luxe Stroller UPPAbaby

The UPPAbaby G-Luxe umbrella stroller is one the best lightweight strollers available. It's sleek and stylish, and feels sturdy and posh when you push chairs and prams it. It is also very easy to fold and has a carrying strap for when you need to store it in a tiny space like a corner of your closet or Twin Pushchair hotel.

It comes with a comprehensive set of accessories for travel, including the rain cover and the SPF 50+ sunshade, which snaps on effortlessly. The G-Luxe also comes with a large stretch canopy that's ideal for taller kids and provides ample coverage to keep your little ones protected from sun.

Contrary to many umbrella strollers that are light, the UPPAbaby G Luxe comes with a one-hand actuated recline and an adjustable footrest that means your child can enjoy a relaxing time. It has a large storage bin that can hold a diaper bag and snacks. It can fit a medium-sized changing pad.

The braking system of the UPPAbaby G-Luxe is considered to be among the top on the market. The stroller is easy and responsive to control, with responsive brakes. Some parents have complained about the G-Luxe being difficult to fold.

Founded in the US in 2006, UPPAbaby has become known for its practical-but-stylish buggies at competitive prices and its focus on quality and environmental sustainability. It is also a popular choice for celebrities. Both Emily Blunt, and double Pram Adele own UPPAbaby Vista and Cruz strollers.

2. Cybex Mios Stroller

The Mios is a stylish stroller, which comes with an extensive selection of accessories to enhance its functionality. The innovative one-hand fold allows you to fold it into a self-standing style and makes it easy to store. The mesh fabric is breathable and can also make hot days more comfortable. You can add a parasol for your child to protect them from the sun. The Mios is available in a range of colors and patterns to match your style, from classic to contemporary.

It can be used from birth using the carrycot, and it lies flat to offer a comfortable baby-sized fit. The cozy carrycot is simple to remove from the frame using a simple click and memory buttons. It is among the most convenient prams to carry and can be easily carried for short distances and up and down steps.

The Mios is easy for you to drive and maneuver, particularly on smooth surfaces such as pavements, paths and paved roads. It's also enjoyable to use on rougher terrain. Adele was enjoying navigating it around the hills and mud of Victoria Park with confidence.

The Mios is an excellent option for families who plan to use it with an infant car safety seat. It includes Cybex car seat adapters, which are compatible with GB and Cybex infant seats, and the adapters can remain in place when folding down the Mios. The Mios can be used in conjunction with the Cybex Aton 2 or Cloud Q series infant car seats with an additional adapter which is available separately. This is a great travel pushchair for long walks or a day of exploring the city. The Cybex Mios can also be the ideal choice pram for newborn parents of twins because it can be combined with the Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board+ to allow for two children.

3. Doona Stroller

Doona is a unique infant car seat that can also be used as a stroller. This makes it an ideal travel pushchair for people who don't need an additional stroller or car seat. It has top safety ratings from Stifting Warentest, ADAC, and OAMTC as well as five stars for its the ease of use. The Doona has also been rated for air travel and certified to meet all US and EU standards.

It features an exclusive double pushchair-wall structure that allows the wheels to fold up into the body of the Doona and provide significant safety advantages. The two layers of durable impact-absorbing plastic, as well as the additional layers of EPS, foam, and other materials provide enhanced side-impact protection for your child in the event of an accident. The handle also acts as an effective anti-rebound bar to absorb the force of an accident and prevent your child from reversing backwards, causing serious injuries.

You can pop out the wheels of the Doona by pulling a lever on the back of the seat. The lever triggers a slight bump that doesn't wake your baby. To tuck the wheels back in, just lift the same lever, and the process is effortless.

The Doona is compatible with many automobile models and public transport making it an ideal travel pushchair. It's designed to slide through narrow airline aisles and is suitable for traveling with infants, so you can take your Doona with you wherever you go, even to foreign countries. It's also simple to set up without or with the base. This is ideal for those who are renting a car on your journey, or don't want to use up your home space for a base.

4. Trvl Stroller

The Nuna Trvl Stroller is the perfect companion for any excursion whether it's a simple weekend getaway, a long distance journey, or a quick city trip. This lightweight stroller is loaded with convenience and comfort for both you and your child. It also features a compact self-fold, which redefines what it means for a stroller to be travel-ready.

The progressive front and back wheel suspensions allow you to navigate bumpy terrain. The adjustable calf support supports raise the seat so that your child can ride in comfortable. The specially designed canopy comes with UPF 50+ sun protection as well as an open window. And if you're a frequent flyer you'll appreciate that this stroller can be tucked away in the overhead bins of many airlines (please check with your airline to be sure! ).

The Trvl is simple to use even for a baby. Because of its magnetic MagneTech secure snap buckle, it is simple to attach the PIPA Series infant car seat to the belly bar with no additional adapters needed. The Trvl features a leatherette-accented handle and pushbar for an ergonomic grip.

The Trvl comes with a large, easy-to-access basket that can fit a lot of gear (it can accommodate a diaper bag and a small backpack!). The legs are on the longer side for greater stability, and the stroller rolled well over all surfaces tested. However, it has one minor issue that is the fold is a bit tangled. It is easy to lose the ring and handle in the event of a mishap. This is a minor inconvenience however it is something to consider when you are planning to take this stroller for trips.

5. Graco 3D Lite Stroller

This stroller for one child offers plenty for the price. It comes with an expandable basket as well as a cup holder for parents. It can be folded in a matter of seconds. It has a pivoting tray for the child and a 5-point safety harness. The only issue is that the chair isn't able to recline completely, so it's a bad option for infants.

This is the cheapest stroller we've reviewed. It's lightweight and features high seats that give your toddler a nice view. It's not as sturdy as the higher-end models, however, and it may struggle on uneven surfaces, like cobblestones. It also has two front wheels that can shift to the left if they encounter obstacles.

The 3D Lite has a small storage bin that can hold a moderate-sized backpack diaper bag and it has a peek-a-boo window in the canopy. The sunshade is smallest and does not extend beyond your child's back. It does come with a sun visor that can be removed.

The seat has a 5-point harness that is cushioned, and the frame has an adjustable shoulder strap so that you can carry it folded. It's not as compact as the TraveLite, but it still folds easily.

It comes with a three-position seat recline, but it doesn't go all the way flat (use starting at 6 months or more). The brakes are a bit more rigid than the competition and require both sides to be pressed in order to get full engagement of the brakes. Overall, the quality of the 3D Lite is decent for its price. It's better than the budget-friendly Kolcraft Cloud Plus however, it's not as great as some of the more expensive competitors.
